ÂMirchi SivaÂs close friends know how Âtalented he is in dance. For the RJ-turned-actor ensured that others in the unit had tough time when he was shaking legs for ÂChennai 600028 and ÂSarojaÂ.
However, his forthcoming ÂThamizh Padam has brought out the Âdancer inside Siva. As per the movieÂs script, which is a spoof on Tamil films, he had to imitate a top heroÂs Bharatanatyam performance in a particular film, which was a cult hit in the early 1980s.
Since the director of ÂThamizh Padam C S Amudhan was aware of SivaÂs dance knowledge, he requested a Bharatanatyam expert to coach the actor. But the dancer received the shock of his life when he asked Siva to perform a few steps.
The actorÂs performance literally made the dance guru to leave the sets of the film. However, without losing the spirit, Siva somehow managed to dance and completed the scene well, sources in the unit say.
